Stainless Steel Welders Position with Premier Client in Australia

Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Stainless Steel Welders to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in stainless steel welding, who is passionate about craftsmanship and precision. The successful candidates will play a key role in producing and repairing a wide range of stainless steel products, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in stainless steel welding, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various welding techniques.
• Must possess relevant welding certification
• Required to provide professional references, recent payslips, a valid passport, and a clean police record.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on stainless steel materials, using techniques such as TIG, MIG, and ARC welding, to create and repair products according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately fabricate stainless steel components and assemblies.
• Conduct tests and inspections of welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety; adhere to all workplace safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with the design and fabrication teams to optimize product quality and efficiency in production.
• Manage materials inventory and ensure the efficient use of supplies to minimize waste.

Skills and Qualifications:
 

• Demonstrated proficiency in stainless steel welding, supported by at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Achievement of a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Welding) or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of welding machinery, tools, and techniques specific to stainless steel.
• Capability to work accurately from technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
